What it means

Each congressional district elects one representative, so the correct name depends on your address and can change after elections. Find yours by ZIP code on house.gov.

In territories with a nonvoting Delegate or Resident Commissioner, you may name that person, or say the territory has no (voting) representatives in Congress.

Memory tip: Look up your representative by ZIP code and practice the full name.
